A rainy Swedish morning

The morning in Sweden started rainy and we cannot fight the feeling that this weather will stick to us for the next days.

Elk test

Driving through the darkness is challenging. We hit the brakes instead of the huge cow elk that suddenly appeared out of nowhere and we missed the three XL trucks on the tiny road by a few centimeters. Springer wants a hot-dog.

And

Then a little bit more Sweden.

Crossing countries

Our next destination is Bergen, to shorten travel time we will cross some countries. First a little bit of Finland.

10.000 lakes

One last view at the mountains near Kautokeino city. It's a really beautiful and sunny day. This municipality is the largest in Norway at 9.700 sq km, about 640 sq km of it is covered with approx. 10.000 lakes. We found one of them.

Sami University

View towards the freshly built building of the Sami university that will open its doors later this year.

Light artist Kurt Hermansen

Together with light artist Kurt Hermansen (photo), Hagbart created numerous mixed light-stone sculptures and installations for the freshly built Sami University, which they are currently installing at and around the building. With Kurt and Hagbart we talked about collaborating on a project in the Finnmark.
