Good morning Tromsø
Somehow we made it through the storm engaging us last night on our way to Tromsø. We've been told that the mountain passage has been closed shortly after we passed it. So we woke up to enjoy the impressive collection of icicles they are featuring around town.

Guess what's coming
Temperature climbed up again, and again, we found ourselves in the middle of a heavy snowstorm. It's nearly impossible to see further than a few meters. There is at least 40 cm fresh snow on the road and we hope not to meet a snowdrift.

What you always wanted to know about Guovdageaidnu ...
After a short break at Guovdageaidnu (Kautokeino) we are passing by the large breeding areas for the reindeer herds. Wikipedia says regarding the climate around here: "Average precipitation is 360 millimetres (14.2 in) per year, which is one of the lowest average amounts of precipitation in the country. It is also claimed that this is comparable to parts of the Sahara desert". We will be back here during our Summer Exploration.

Blue hour
The blue hour arrived. Very mystical charged. The snow and ice are accenting the shape of the scenery and then there is silence. If you hold your breath and listen, the loudest sound is your own pulse.
